Cocoa Beach Boat Parade
The parade of festive, illuminated boats starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Marker 101, which is near Centennial Park on State Road 520 across from Cape Canaveral Hospital. Cocoa Beach Rotary Club recommends these viewing locations:
- Sunset Cafe, 500 W. Cocoa Beach Causeway
- The end of S. Banana River Blvd.
- Cove Park, 540 McNabb Pkwy., Cocoa Beach

Holiday Concerts galore
Swingtime Holiday Dance: Dance the night away with Melbourne Municipal Band at Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd., at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7. Christmas of Light: Brevard Community Chorus, accompanied by select players from Brevard Symphony Orchestra, will sing holiday favorites along with Dan Forrest’s new choral selection “LUX.” The concert will be at the King Center for the Performing Arts, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8. Tickets are $20, $15 for seniors and military, and $5 for students. Call 321-242-2219 or visit kingcenter.com.
