The Sunshine State’s housing market continues to see climbing prices and dwindling supply.
Central Florida’s housing market has been hot for several years, leading to a surge in prices and quick sales – even for homes at the upper end of the price range.
In the slideshow above, here’s a look at the most expensive home on the local market now: 5115 Fairway Oaks Drive, which is on 7.18 acres along the shore of Lake Bessie in Windermere, according to the Orlando Regional Realtor Association.
The 15,063-square-foot home has seven bedrooms, plus seven full and four half bathrooms and is listed for $10.999 million, or $730 per square foot, according to Realtor.com, and the monthly payment for a 30-year fixed-mortgage with a $2 million down payment would be roughly $60,000. The listing agent is Dana Rohe with Isleworth Realty LLC. The vacant land for the property last sold in 2011 for $1.65 million.
Built in 2015, the two-story house has arched French doors with glass and iron detail, plus a foyer that opens to a two-story living room with floor-to ceiling windows and water views, according to Realtor.com. The finishes include imported stone and antique details throughout the formal dining room, kitchen, breakfast area, six en-suite bedrooms and a detached guest house.
The home also features a two-story office with custom library as well as a game room with hardwood floors, custom ceiling and a covered balcony. It also has an elevator and three fireplaces, according to the Orange County Property Appraiser. The grounds include a custom swimming pool and spa, water fountains and a boat dock.
